The goal is to create a passive house – a building that does not need any lighting, heating or cooling systems to keep comfort. To do so, a thorough analysis of the given position is made, with special regard to winds and humidity, and also the needs of the given client, in this case a painter, are evaluated.

Taking this into account, the house is built using different strategies such as burying part of it, building porches or cross-ventilation. Therefore, a passive house is achieved, yet with an integrated architectural look.
